Plan to Attend the Fall Main Street Marketplace Beginning Friday, September 2
Now Accepting Vendor Registration Forms
Columbia, SC – August 5, 2011 – City Center Partnership (CCP), the non-profit organization that manages the downtown business improvement district, is pleased to announce the return of the Fall Main Street Marketplace, and is accepting vendor registration forms for the market. The Main Street Marketplace is held every Friday in September and October from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in front of the Columbia Museum of Art at the corner of Hampton and Main Street. The event is an open-air market that features a variety of vendors selling unique crafts, photography, books, art, and other handmade gifts. Local farmers bring fresh produce for sale, and downtown restaurants offer food items for sale onsite. Attendees can enter to win a door prize each week, as well as enjoy live music from all genres while they shop.

(CCP) is a non-profit organization that manages South Carolina’s only managed Business Improvement District in the 36-block area bounded by Gervais, Elmwood, Assembly, and Marion streets in downtown Columbia. CCP is funded by the property owners in the surrounding area.
