City Center Partnership Announces New Director of Retail Recruitment for Downtown Columbia



Columbia, SC –September 21, 2011– City Center Partnership (CCP) is excited to welcome Heather Spires as the new Director of Retail Recruitment for downtown Columbia.

“Heather brings a wealth of experience in sales from recruiting members and soliciting donations for non-profit organizations,” said Matt Kennell, president and CEO of City Center Partnership. “Heather was selected from a group of very qualified people. Ultimately her background, personality, and relationships in Columbia are a major asset to our organization. We feel she will do an outstanding job.”

About Heather Spires
Spires is a graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Journalism and Mass Communications. She has worked with various advocacy and nonprofit organizations and was previously the Development Director of the Nickelodeon Theatre. As Development Director, Spires oversaw the Nick’s $4M capital campaign through the identification, cultivation, and solicitation of individual, corporate, foundation, and public prospects.
