City Center Partnership, Frame of Mind, COR (Columbia Opportunity Resource), and other downtown merchants are pleased to announce the return of Mingle & Jingle on Main, a retail kickoff for the holiday season in downtown Columbia. The event is designed to highlight the businesses in the downtown corridor.
The festivities and entertainment are planned for December 1 (the First Thursday of the month) from 6 to 9 p.m. A Christmas Tree Lighting, Eau Claire High School Dance Ensemble, a Singing Santa Claus, and an Elf Yourself (photo booth) will be located in front of the Columbia Museum of Art. In the Arcade building, a hand bell quartet will perform, and various artists will feature their artwork. Holiday films will be projected off the façade of the future Nickelodeon, and Frame of Mind will have a trunk show. In addition, Mast General Store will host a book signing for Twelve Days of Christmas in South Carolina. Other various activities and entertainment are planned.
