City Center Partnership’s Urban Tour Entertainment Lineup for April 5, 2012

COLUMBIA S.C - March 15, 2012 - City Center Partnership (CPP), the non-profit organization that manages the downtown Business Improvement District, will kick off its 5th Annual Urban Tour on Thursday, April 5th, from 5:00 p.m. until 8 p.m. along Main Street. The Urban Tour is a free event featuring all that Columbia’s downtown has to offer. The tour is self-guided with special offers and giveaways from retailers and restaurants along the way. There is also live entertainment, such as street performers and musicians, local artists, and a glimpse into downtown living.

What Attendees Can Expect
Businesses along the tour will keep their doors open late for the event. Free shuttle and horse carriage rides are available to assist pedestrians. When attendees arrive, they can pick up a brochure that includes a map of the event and a list of trivia questions. Once 10 of the 23 participating businesses included in the trivia questions have been visited, attendees can wrap up the night by submitting their answers at the door prize table before 7:30 to be eligible for door prize drawings at 7:45 (Corner of Lady & Main Streets).
